Can anyone tell me about travel in London?

Our transport is second to none.There are trains underground trains( Called the Tube by Londoners)and of course buses. Taxis are expensive and if you do have to have cab make sure that the driver in licenced. If you are going to the main part of \london,which to most tourists is the West End, theatres,clubs ,first showing cinemas and of course SHOPS it would be cheaper to get an All Day Ticket from a railway station which gives you access to trains buses and tube in the Greater London area.,All you have to do is ask at the station office.
