I need help finding info on transuals and the impact it has had on the rest of the family?

i am a student doing a report on rane arroyos "my transvestite uncle is missing" i am looking for info on the impact or feelings the rest of the family has in regards to a transuals "change". can anyone help? i obviously need credible sources
